This is an exciting opportunity for a sharp, resourceful, and highly professional recruiter who wants exposure to multiple countries, business functions, and levels of leadership. Based remotely in LATAM , you will be part of our global HR team and partner with hiring managers and candidates across the United States, Europe, Latin America, and other international markets.

You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from understanding the business need and developing sourcing strategies to assessing candidates, coordinating the selection process, and supporting onboarding. You will also handle confidential and business-critical searches, requiring sound judgment, maturity, reliability, and absolute discretion.

This role is well suited to someone who enjoys a fast-moving environment, takes ownership, communicates confidently in English, and uses technology creatively to deliver results.

What You Will Do

• Partner with hiring managers across different countries to understand their business needs, position requirements, and ideal candidate profiles.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment for professional, technical, operational, and leadership positions in the United States and international markets.
• Develop targeted sourcing strategies using job boards, LinkedIn, professional networks, referrals, agencies, universities, and other talent channels.
• Proactively identify and engage qualified candidates, including passive talent.
• Conduct screening interviews, evaluate candidates against clearly defined requirements, and present well-supported recommendations to hiring managers.
• Manage confidential searches with professionalism, discretion, and careful control of sensitive information.
• Coordinate interviews, maintain consistent communication, and help deliver a positive and respectful candidate experience.
• Guide hiring managers through the recruitment process, provide market insights, and keep searches moving forward.
• Support reference checks, background screenings, employment eligibility procedures, and other pre-employment requirements.
• Maintain complete and accurate information in the applicant tracking system and other recruitment tools.
• Support the onboarding of employees and contractors by entering required information accurately and promptly into the appropriate HR systems.
• Build relationships with recruitment agencies, universities, and talent communities, particularly in the United States and Latin America.
• Track recruiting activity and provide clear updates, metrics, and insights to HR and business leaders.
• Ensure that every hire follows WAI’s established authorization, selection, and documentation processes.
• Use AI, automation, and other technology to improve sourcing, organization, communication, and recruiting efficiency.
• Contribute to employer-branding initiatives, career events, and other projects that strengthen WAI’s talent pipeline.
• Stay current on recruiting trends, sourcing practices, technology, and relevant employment requirements.

Working Across a Global Organization

The position is based in LATAM region and will work closely with colleagues across several countries and time zones. Most work will follow the established local schedule; however, occasional flexibility will be necessary to accommodate meetings in U.S. Eastern, Central, or Pacific time zones. These schedule adjustments are expected to represent less than 20% of working time.

Requirements

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least five years of combined experience in recruitment, HR, or related business-support roles.
• At least three years of experience managing corporate or in-house recruitment.
• Demonstrated full-cycle recruiting experience, from the hiring-manager intake meeting through selection and onboarding.
• Experience recruiting for positions based in the United States is required; experience supporting other international markets is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of U.S. employment eligibility requirements and appropriate recruiting practices.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems, sourcing platforms, and recruitment reporting tools.
• Confidence sourcing and approaching passive candidates—not only managing applicants from job postings.
• Professional fluency in English, including the ability to interview candidates and lead meetings with hiring managers. Spanish proficiency is strongly preferred.
• Strong organization and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple searches, priorities, and stakeholders.
• Excellent judgment, attention to detail, follow-through, and respect for confidential information.
• A proactive, results-oriented approach and the maturity to work independently in a remote, global environment.
• Confidence communicating with professionals and leaders from different functions, countries, and cultures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
• Practical experience using AI and productivity tools—such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or automation platforms—to improve work quality and efficiency.
