General Summary:
HHS Government Services is seeking an HR Special Projects Generalist to support day-to-day HR generalist functions with a focus on special projects administration and data management across Paycom and Jamis. This role and position title may change based on HR requirements.
This role maintains accurate employee data, supports dual-system maintenance between HRIS and accounting, and handles special projects as assigned for administrative HR processes. It plays a critical part in ensuring system accuracy and sustaining a structured HR operation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
HRIS Data Management
Perform daily employee data entry and updates in Jamis from Paycom.
Maintain data accuracy across dual systems (HRIS and accounting interface).
Process dual entry job changes within Jamis for compensation updates, and organizational structure updates as needed for completing audit projects to encompass benefits and CBA/SCA wages.
Conduct data audits and corrections.
Ensure consistency between the HRIS and financial systems.
HR Administrative Support
Review and interpret CBAs and SCAs for adding information to a predefined Excel Worksheet with common and frequent topics reviewed and reported to the site level.
Support day-to-day HR administrative tasks.
Benefits Support
Set up benefit open enrollment in Paycom.
Ensure deduction codes are accurate and working properly in Paycom.
Reporting & Tracking
Assist with HR reports and tracking logs.
Support compliance reporting as needed.
Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of HR, HRIS, or administrative experience.
Experience with HR systems (Paycom preferred; Jamis a plus).
Strong understanding of interpretation of CBAs.
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Excel proficiency.
Organized and process-driven.
Other duties as assigned.
