How can you make an impact?

As a Core Content Project Manager, you'll take ownership of producing high-quality content across eBook and print channels; managing competing priorities, keeping cross-functional teams aligned, and finding smarter ways to work. These are high-volume, fast-moving projects, and success depends on your ability to stay organized, anticipate problems before they escalate, and bring curiosity, calm, and clarity to every challenge.

This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

What you’ll do: 

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans covering scope, schedule, resources, budget, risk, and quality benchmarks – holding yourself accountable for on-time, on-budget delivery that meets accessibility and quality standards.
• Proactively identify risks, adapt plans when priorities shift, and resolve problems creatively and resourcefully.
• Collaborate closely with authors, product developers, program managers, and global production partners to keep work on track and foster strong, productive working relationships.
• Monitor production partner performance and ensure compliance with project specifications and processes.
• Contribute to retrospectives, support the ongoing development and training of production partners, and identify opportunities to improve workflows.
• Communicate clearly and consistently with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining accurate project data across all systems.
• Champion accessibility standards across all deliverables to ensure an equitable learning experience for all students.
• Engage in cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives, process improvements, and the piloting of new tools and workflows.
• Utilize AI-powered tools and workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and delivery outcomes. 

What you bring: 

• Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of project management experience, ideally in print or digital content production.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams as a production expert, advising on workflows and guiding teams toward swift, effective resolutions.
• Skilled at communicating clearly across all levels of an organization — both internal and external.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly, problem-solve creatively, and thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment.
• Strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to maintain data integrity across all project management systems.
• Experience with project management and content tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira, Habitat, Adobe Acrobat).

The pay range for this position is between $54,500 - $69,000 annually. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
