Early Intervention 1:1 Assistant, part time

Are you a student looking to gain real world experience with children who have special needs?

Do you have an interest in learning more about Early Intervention and possible career opportunities working with tiny humans?

Do you have a few hours a week?

Rochester Hearing and Speech Center has immediate openings for 1:1 assistant to work with 2-3-year-old children with special needs. Duties include, but are not limited to: assisting assigned child with all aspects of the daily routine including collaborating with Speech, OT, PT and other providers. (must be able to lift children, sit/kneel on the floor and react quickly to the needs of the children).

· Hours are 10-12 and 1-3

· Classes run M-F - we are open to flexible scheduling and in need to fill various positions.

· The position will provide you with experience working with young children and exposure to licensed professionals great for resumes

· Salary: $17.00/hour

· Summer availability a plus

· Location: 1000 Elmwood Ave, Rochester 14620
