Summary

 The Albuquerque Academy Copy & Mail Center is seeking an individual
for the position of Assistant. This position is responsible for providing copy
and mail services to the school. Duties include: completing copy jobs, sorting
and delivering incoming mail, posting outgoing mail, and producing ID cards. Strong candidates are attracted

Essential
Functions

Complete copy job requested through FMX.
Sort and deliver incoming mail.
Post outgoing mail.
Produce ID cards for students, faculty, staff, coaches, exchange students, and contractors.
Produce end-of-month reports for postage, extra copy charges, payroll deductions, and IDs.
Order supplies for the postage machine, copiers, laminators, and poster printer.
Support the school and its mission, always maintaining a high degree of professionalism.
Foster and maintain a culture of mutual respect, equitable practice, and joy.
Demonstrate cultural competence and communicate and collaborate effectively across differences.

Other Responsibilities

Serve as backup to schedule school SUVs.
Update the mail cart and mailbox names.
Attend employee meetings as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience
Experience in a related field is preferred, not required.
Previous experience with copy, postage, and lamination machines preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Customer service skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Basic knowledge of Adobe InDesign.
Organizational skills.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Special Requirements
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Working Environment
Majority of work is performed in an indoor setting in the campus Copy Center.
The Copy Center is open from 7:30am to 4pm, Monday-Friday; student schedules are flexible as long as expectations are met.
Physical Demands
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
