We are looking for a Part Time Cook who will be responsible for preparing and cooking all food items to perfection, ensuring orders are expedited swiftly, accurately, and in full accordance with menu specifications and standards.

Located in Waite Park, MN, Parkwood Cinema is a 17-screen theatre that features two SuperScreen auditoriums, Zaffiro's Express, and a full-service Zaffiro's Restaurant. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends nights, and holidays. Tuesday availability is also a must.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Sufficient manual dexterity of hand in order to use all kitchen equipment, i.e., knives, spoons, spatulas, tongs, slicers, etc.
• Knowledge of proper knife handling, techniques, and cooking procedures and basic prep functions (i.e. cleaning greens, prepping vegetables).
• Ability to lift, push, or pull weights up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods, work in a confined space with high levels of noise and frequent interruptions, and perform duties within extreme temperature ranges.
• Ability to obtain any local, state or federal license or certification for sanitation, liquor service, or food service certification.
• Previous experience as a Cook, chef, prep cook, line cook, line staff, or in fast food, a kitchen, restaurant or other food handling operation are helpful.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Ensure high quality and presentation of food production.
• Prep and cook food according to recipes.
• Set up, break down, and maintain necessary knowledge of kitchen equipment and stations.
• Perform necessary advance prep and read tickets to produce orders.
• Keep the line and prep area organized, stocked, and clean.
• Follow direction from management and assist in controlling food waste.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support overall operations.
• Support a culture of cleanliness by consistently following and reinforcing company cleaning standards. Take ownership of maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment at all times.
