💰 Pay: $16 – $19 per hour (based on experience)
🕒 Schedule: Part-Time | Flexible Shifts (Morning or Evening)
📅 Includes weekend rotation

Position Summary

The Part-Time Cook is responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, high-quality meals for clients and staff while ensuring kitchen operations remain efficient, safe, and compliant with food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus
• Ensure food meets quality, portion, and presentation standards
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Adjust recipes and quantities based on census and needs
• Accommodate special dietary requirements as directed
• Complete required logs (temperature checks, cleaning schedules, etc.)
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, dishes, and utensils
• Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies
• Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and staff
• Participate in required trainings and maintain certifications
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Previous cooking or food service experience preferred
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
• ServSafe certification preferred (or ability to obtain upon hire)
