The Engagement
We're looking for an experienced locum tenens credentialing professional to support our Compliance team on a 13-week contract. You'll credential locums providers for placement with client facilities, making sure every file meets regulatory, accreditation, and client requirements before the provider's start date. This is not an entry-level role. We need someone who has already done provider credentialing and can work independently from day one.

What You'll Deliver

• Complete credentialing and re-credentialing files for locums physicians and advanced practice providers across multiple client facilities
• Verify primary source verification of licenses, board certifications, DEA, and applicable life support certifications
• Coordinate with client CVOs, MSOs, and provider enrollment teams to move privileging and enrollment forward
• Track expirations for licenses, certifications, and COIs, and flag items that put start dates and or future shifts at risk
• Keep provider files complete, accurate, and audit-ready in Trio VMS
• Communicate file status and outstanding requirements to agency partners and internal stakeholders
• Handle all provider and client information confidentially, in line with HIPAA

Required Experience

• 2+ years of locum tenens or provider credentialing experience (physicians, NPs, PAs, CRNAs)
• Experience working with or within a CVO, MSO, or provider enrollment team
• Working knowledge of Joint Commission and NCQA credentialing standards
• Experience managing high-volume files across multiple clients with different requirements
• Comfort learning new systems quickly, including VMS and credentialing platforms
• Strong written communication and follow-up discipline
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an MSP environment
• CPCS or CPMSM certification
• Experience and comfortability leveraging AI tools to support documentation and process optimization

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
