The OpportunityRex is seeking a Content Director, Rex Media to take ownership of our entire media presence and turn it into a growth engine for the business, not just a content calendar. This is a video-first mandate: the flagship output is high-quality video, with written and short-form content flowing out from it, not produced separately. This role is anchored by three core mandates. Own the planning and production of video content that drives measurable growth in following, engagement, and new business, with a proven history of doing exactly that. Master the full funnel, building top, middle, and end of funnel content assets and owning the mechanism that turns engagement into actual customers and investors, not just impressions. Keep every platform cranking, including LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube and YouTube Shorts, using external execution partners where it creates leverage, such as engagement, commenting, and production support, while retaining full ownership of strategy and quality. The ideal candidate has 7 to 12 years of deep, hands-on experience in content creation and social media, with a demonstrated command of the platform game and a track record that speaks for itself. They have real proficiency in business, finance, and investment concepts, enough to know where to cut a video, which themes will land, and how to speak credibly to a sophisticated audience. They know how to create content that lures attention while still delivering genuine value to a UHNW investor audience, balancing virality with substance. Like all Rex players, they are proactive and resourceful, take the initiative without waiting to be told, and treat obstacles as something to solve rather than escalate. Must be missionary minded, driven to further human flourishing primarily through the stewardship of investor capital and secondarily through how that capital is put to work across real estate, tech, and beyond. About the Role

Rex is hiring a Content Director, Rex Media to run the company's entire media presence as a business function with a P&L mindset, not a creative side project. This role owns outcomes, not just output: growth in following and engagement matters, but only insofar as it converts into real investor and customer pipeline.
Video is the center of gravity. Every other format, written, short-form, platform-native, exists downstream of a high-quality video production engine, and you will own that pipeline from concept through distribution. You will build and manage a full-funnel content strategy, engineering the specific mechanisms that move someone from a first view to a qualified investor or customer conversation, and reporting on that path with the same rigor Rex applies to capital.
You will keep every major platform active and performing, deploying external execution partners for leverage on tasks like community engagement and production support, while personally owning strategy, quality, and the final product. You bring enough fluency in business, finance, and investment concepts to make sharp editorial calls, know which themes resonate with a sophisticated audience, and speak credibly to UHNW investors without dumbing anything down. This is a proactive, resourceful seat: problems get solved, not escalated. Must be missionary to the bone.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the planning, production, and distribution of high-quality, video-first content across all Rex media channels.
• Build and manage a full-funnel content strategy, developing distinct top, middle, and end of funnel assets that move an audience from awareness to action.
• Engineer and own the mechanism that converts content engagement into qualified investor and customer conversations, including tracking, reporting, and handoff to the appropriate team.
• Manage and grow presence across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube and YouTube Shorts, tailoring strategy and format to each platform.
• Identify, vet, and manage external execution partners for leverage functions such as community engagement, commenting, and production support, while retaining full ownership of strategy and final quality.
• Translate business, finance, and investment concepts into content that is accurate, credible, and compelling to a sophisticated UHNW audience.
• Balance virality and substance in every piece, creating content that earns attention without sacrificing the integrity of the message.
• Run a disciplined testing and analytics cadence, using performance data to continuously refine what gets made and how it's distributed.
• Report on both growth metrics (following, engagement, reach) and business-impact metrics (pipeline, investor conversations, and customer conversions generated through media).
• Proactively identify and resolve production, distribution, or performance obstacles without waiting for direction or escalation.
• Own a media production and partner budget, allocating resources to maximize growth and pipeline outcomes.
• Operate with total discipline: execute fast, iterate faster, and never let a thread drop.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 7–12 years of deep, hands-on experience in content creation and social media, with a demonstrated command of the platform game.
• A track record of driving measurable growth in following, engagement, and new business through video-first content.
• Real proficiency in business, finance, and investment concepts, sufficient to make sharp editorial and production calls for a sophisticated audience.
• Proven ability to build and manage a full content funnel, from top-of-funnel awareness assets through to conversion mechanisms.
• Direct experience managing content across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, with platform-specific fluency.
• Experience directing or managing external execution partners for production or engagement support while retaining creative and quality control.
• Skilled at balancing virality with substance, able to lure attention while still delivering genuine value to a discerning investor audience.
• Comfortable owning a testing and analytics cadence, using data to sharpen content strategy over time.
