What You'll Do

In this role, you'll be the voice of North Star, delivering exceptional service and creating positive experiences with every member interaction.

Deliver Exceptional Member Service

• Serve as the first point of contact for members through phone, email, and digital channels
• Provide accurate, timely assistance with account inquiries, transactions, and service requests
• Resolve member concerns with professionalism, empathy, and confidence
• Build trust with members by providing personalized support and guidance

Support Member Financial Needs

• Assist members with account maintenance, opening and closing accounts, and service requests
• Process transactions including account transfers, loan payments, ACH transactions, and wire transfers
• Support lending and deposit-related activities while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
• Help members navigate products and services that support their financial goals

Build Relationships & Identify Opportunities

• Listen carefully to understand member needs and financial priorities
• Recommend products and services that provide value and meet members' unique situations
• Promote a positive member experience that strengthens long-term relationships
• Contribute to the growth and success of the credit union through quality service and referrals

Keep Operations Running Smoothly

• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Follow established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve issues efficiently
• Participate in training, team meetings, and community events as needed

• You consistently provide accurate information and timely follow-through
• Member questions and concerns are resolved efficiently and professionally
• You identify opportunities to enhance members' financial well-being

What You Bring

• 6 months to 2 years of customer service, financial services, call center, or related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication, listening, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build relationships and provide exceptional service
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
• Comfort using technology and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
• Previous banking, credit union, or call center experience is a plus

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Professional office setting in a Contact Center environment
• Extended periods of sitting, typing, and phone communication
• Frequent use of computer systems and office equipment
• Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
