Position Details: Part-Time
Shift: Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) 8:30am - 4:30pm,
What You’ll Do:
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for the community, providing a welcoming and professional presence for visitors, residents, and staff. This role is responsible for managing incoming calls, greeting residents and guests at entry, and supporting administrative functions to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail; process packages and deliveries
- Greet and assist residents, visitors, applicants, and staff while providing welcoming, courteous service
- Answer incoming calls, take and distribute messages, and assist with resident and staff communications
- Monitor community access, issue visitor badges, and report suspicious or disruptive activity
- Follow fire, safety, and emergency procedures and communicate with appropriate personnel
- Assist residents with forms, transportation requests, event registrations, and other needs
- Coordinate deliveries including medications, flowers, groceries, and other items
- Submit maintenance and EVS work orders and assist with resident requests
- Provide administrative support, including copying, office supplies, petty cash, receipts, postage, and storage assignments
- Enter resident charges into Full Count and maintain accurate records as needed
- Support daily front-desk operations and perform additional administrative duties as assigned
Preferred:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior administrative or office experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
• Basic computer skills and the ability to effectively utilize the resident portal system
• Demonstrated ability to provide courteous, professional customer service
• Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills
• Ability to organize and manage mail and package distribution efficiently
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
