Concessions Attendant, Tacos Mejor at Hub Hall

Overview

Delaware North's Patina Group is hiring part-time Concessions Attendants to join our team at Tacos Mejor in Boston, Massachusetts. As a Concessions Stand Attendant, you will be responsible for preparing and serving concession items while providing an excellent guest experience. 

Tacos Mejor is a vibrant taquería created by Chef Carlos Gaytán, renowned for his innovative approach to modern Mexican cuisine. Inspired by the flavors, traditions, and spirit of Mexico's street food culture, Tacos Mejor offers a dining experience centered on authentic tacos, fresh ingredients, and a welcoming atmosphere. Built on the belief that great food is meant to be shared, the restaurant brings guests together over memorable meals in a lively setting that celebrates the bold flavors and culture of Mexico.

Please note that this is a tipped position; the listed hourly minimum pay doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

Unit Description

Delaware North is a leader in food service management, operating some of the busiest and most famous kitchens in the world. This is no exception when it comes to serving up exquisite cuisines and unforgettable dining experiences in the Boston Hub area including locations such as Banners Kitchen & Tap, Momosan, and the Boston Hub Food Hall.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, communicate offerings, and answer any questions in a friendly manner 
• Serve food and beverage items, following proper sanitation guidelines and adhering to all alcohol service policies 
• Participate in the set-up of the kiosk, arrange inventory, and notify the stand lead of any inventory shortages 
• Maintain a clean appearance of the work area, including cleaning equipment 
• Record all transactions via the point-of-sale system and maintain an accurate cash count and balance banks at the end of the shift 

Qualifications

• Previous cash-handling experience
• Excellent guest service skills
• Basic math skills; ability to accurately count change and balance the bank
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions 
• Ability to lift stock to 50 pounds occasionally 
• May be required to work in narrow spaces or variable temperatures depending on the season
