Job Description
Join Senior Helpers - Petersen-Smith Parent as a Compassionate Caregiver in Awendaw, SC. Provide in-home care and companionship to help seniors maintain independence and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care like bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Prepare meals and offer feeding assistance.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Light housekeeping to keep a safe environment.
- Help with medication reminders and healthcare plans.
- Communicate with clients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Respond calmly to emergencies or client changes.
Requirements
- Caregiving experience preferred but not required; eagerness to learn.
- Compassionate, patient, reliable, with good interpersonal skills.
- Pass background checks and drug screen
- Available weekdays and weekends.
- Work independently and in teams.
