Companion for Active Young Man Every 3rd weekend

Companion Support We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide companion and personal support services to a young man in his home and community.  The individual enjoys routine, shopping, community outings, and social activities. He benefits from consistent support to stay engaged, follow his daily schedule, and participate successfully in activities of his choice.

Hours:
Every 3rd Weekend as follows:
Saturday and Sunday 6 am - 8 pm

Responsibilities:·       Provide companion support in home and community settings·       Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including personal care as needed·       Support participation in community activities, shopping, and recreational outings·       Provide reminders, prompts, and guidance to help maintain routines and stay on task·       Encourage independence, social engagement, and skill maintenance ·       Ensure health, safety, and overall well-being during support hours

Qualifications:·       Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred·       Dependable, patient, and professional·       Strong communication and organizational skills·       Ability to provide appropriate supervision ·       Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
