Community Support Team Lead

Job DetailsJob Location: NC Clinic - Hickory, NC 28602We are seeking a compassionate and experienced CST Team Lead (Therapist) to provide clinical leadership, direct therapeutic services, and support individuals receiving Community Support Team (CST) services.

This role is ideal for a licensed behavioral health professional who is passionate about community-based care, clinical excellence, and helping clients develop the skills needed to thrive at home, in school, and within their communities.

What You'll Do

As the CST Team Lead, you will serve as the clinical leader of the treatment team and oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of person-centered treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

Provide individual therapy and direct clinical services to clients.
Lead and coordinate Community Support Team (CST) services.
Conduct assessments and reassessments to identify client needs and treatment goals.
Develop, implement, and revise Person-Centered Plans (PCPs) in collaboration with clients and treatment team members.
Provide clinical supervision, guidance, and support to CST team members.
Facilitate weekly team meetings and monitor service delivery quality and outcomes.
Deliver psychoeducation, behavioral interventions, and relapse prevention strategies.
Support crisis intervention efforts and participate in first responder crisis coverage as required.
Assist clients with housing stability, independent living skills, community integration, and access to resources.
Coordinate care with providers, community agencies, schools, families, and natural supports.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation and ensure compliance with agency policies and state requirements.
Participate in on-call responsibilities to support 24/7/365 CST service delivery.
Promote client health, safety, rights, and overall well-being.

Education and Experience RequirementsRequired Education & Licensure

Master's degree in a behavioral health discipline and one of the following North Carolina licenses or associate licenses:

Licensed Psychologist
Licensed Psychological Associate
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA)
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA)
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Experience

Minimum of 1 year of experience working with the population served.
Experience providing community-based behavioral health services preferred.
Strong clinical assessment, crisis intervention, and case management skills.
Ability to lead teams, coordinate services, and build collaborative relationships.

Additional Requirements

Complete all CTSHealth-required training and service-specific training requirements.
Maintain confidentiality and compliance with agency policies and procedures.
Participate in supervision, training, and performance review activities.
Successfully fulfill documentation, service delivery, and on-call expectations.
