The Role 

The Community Services Supervisor supports the day-to-day operations of ASD's community programs, providing direct supervision and guidance to outreach and program staff and delivering hands-on case management for residents. Reporting to the Director of Services, this role helps coordinate outreach efforts, supports program compliance, and builds strong relationships with residents and service providers, ensuring the consistent, high-quality delivery of services on the ground. 

What You'll Do 

The Community Services Supervisor provides frontline supervision of outreach and program staff, delivers direct case management support, and helps ensure day-to-day program operations run smoothly. This role works closely with the Director of Services to support compliance, documentation, and service quality across assigned programs. 

Program Supervision & Support 

Supervise and support the day-to-day operations of assigned programs (Intake & Outreach, PHP, STRMU, Emergency Voucher/Hotel Placement, Master Leasing, Inside/Out Afterschool Program, VISTA, and 511 as needed), under the direction of the Director of Services. 

Assist with staff oversight, including reviewing timesheets in Paycom and supporting completion of 90-day staff evaluations. 

Provide day-to-day guidance to program and outreach staff, helping troubleshoot service delivery issues and supporting progress toward program objectives. 

Support daily operations of the Inside/Out Children's Program, helping ensure quality service delivery. 

Outreach & Community Engagement 

Conduct outreach activities and provide day-to-day guidance to outreach workers. 

Represent ASD at community events, building relationships with potential residents, local agencies, and community partners. 

Coordinate and participate in community outreach events, including preparing and setting up outreach booths and materials. 

Assist with client intakes, Housing CAS enrollments, and related Housing CAS activities, and help coordinate housing placements across ASD properties. 

Schedule potential resident panel interviews and complete criminal background checks for new move-ins. 

Case Management & Master Leasing Support 

Provide direct case management support for residents in the Master Leasing Program. 

Complete move-in, annual, and interim recertifications. 

Maintain the Master Leasing rent spreadsheet and ensure program records are accurate and up to date. 

Waitlist & Application Management 

Support management of the ASDCIS waitlist, including auditing data entry and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness. 

Remove individuals and families from the waitlist once housing has been secured, and purge inactive applications in accordance with program requirements. 

Maintain physical and electronic files, ensuring closed files are removed from cabinets and required documents are scanned and uploaded to the database. 

Documentation & Reporting Support 

Assist with HMIS enrollment updates for assigned programs (Master Leasing, Emergency Voucher, PHP, STRMU, 511, and CAS). 

Maintain accurate, confidential case and program documentation within established timelines. 

Support preparation for programmatic audits by helping ensure records and documentation are accurate and complete. 

Assist the Director of Services with progress reports and data tracking through Bloom Growth. 

Other 

Other duties as assigned. 

QualificationsQualifications 

Required 

Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Public Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

At least 1-2 years of experience in case management, community outreach, or program support. 

Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. 

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and case management/database systems. 

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for outreach and community engagement activities. 

Ability to pass a criminal background check. 

Preferred 

Prior experience supervising or leading staff or volunteers. 

Experience with HOPWA-funded programs, HMIS, or Blue Moon lease management systems. 

Experience working with individuals and families impacted by chronic health conditions or homelessness. 

Bilingual (English/Spanish).
