Community Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Community Manager based in United States.

This role focuses on building and scaling a customer community that helps users learn, connect, and succeed with cloud and AI security solutions. You will design engagement programs that support customer onboarding, feature adoption, peer-to-peer learning, and ongoing product engagement. The position combines community strategy with hands-on execution, requiring you to create meaningful experiences while continuously improving programs through data and customer feedback. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Field, and Marketing teams to ensure community insights translate into tangible business and product outcomes. The role also offers opportunities to use AI and automation to scale community initiatives and self-service support. You will help create an active, valuable, and trusted environment where customers can share knowledge and influence the evolution of the product.

Accountabilities:

• Design and execute customer community programs that help users adopt features, troubleshoot issues, discover resources, explore new use cases, and learn from peers.
• Leverage AI and automation to scale community programs, improve efficiency, and support customers more effectively.
• Build initiatives that encourage customer-to-customer engagement, including peer support, knowledge sharing, best-practice discussions, and user contributions.
• Establish effective feedback loops that enable customers to share product ideas, identify challenges, and communicate their needs directly to relevant teams.
• Partner with Product teams to integrate real-time customer insights from the community into product development and prioritization workflows.
• Develop and expand self-service and peer-support programs by cultivating a network of active members and moderators across time zones.
• Recognize and celebrate valuable community contributions to strengthen engagement, loyalty, and participation.
• Track community activity and performance data to understand its impact on customer adoption, satisfaction, engagement, and long-term growth.
• Share actionable insights with cross-functional stakeholders to demonstrate the value and business impact of community initiatives.
• Create a welcoming and inclusive community experience that helps customers feel supported, connected, and motivated to participate.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience building customer-facing or community-related programs, with strong familiarity with Slack and other community platforms.
• 5+ years of professional experience working in the technology industry.
• Strong communication skills and a welcoming, approachable presence, with the ability to build meaningful relationships with users.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating cross-functionally, particularly with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams.
• Strong strategic and execution skills, with the ability to develop a long-term vision while remaining hands-on with day-to-day community activities.
• Experience creating scalable engagement programs that deliver measurable value to customers and internal teams.
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and secure support for community initiatives.
• Comfort working with technical content and product roadmaps, with the ability to communicate confidently with technical users and connect customer needs to internal teams.
• Experience in SaaS, cybersecurity, or another technology environment is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and creativity, with the ability to develop effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to use data, customer feedback, AI, and automation to continuously improve community programs.

• Base salary range of $136,000–$185,000 USD.
