Your Role:

Reporting to the Community Manager Team Lead, you'll help bring the Vital Farms brand to life by building meaningful relationships with our consumers and raving fans across email, social media, phone, and even good old fashioned snail mail. Every interaction is an opportunity to deliver best-in-class hospitality, strengthen trust, and create experiences that turn consumers into lifelong advocates. Whether you're answering questions about our farming practices, helping consumers connect with the farmers behind their food, or celebrating special moments with thoughtful surprises, you'll play a key role in fostering a vibrant community of passionate Vital Farms fans who are excited to share our story with others. 

Organized, self-motivated, and fast on your feet (and fingers), your passion for community and relationship building will help us build trust and create meaningful connections with our consumers. Additionally, here are some other exciting projects and priorities you can expect to champion:  

What You'll Do:

• Respond to consumer inquiries across all customer service channels while engaging our consumers in a hospitable, authentic way
• Manage day-to-day social media engagements across 6+ accounts (Instagram, TikTok, Linkedin, YouTube, X, and Facebook) with a focus on community and relationship building
• Identify trends in community conversations and deliver unique consumer insights that will help us improve the Vital Farms consumer experience and inform brand strategy
• Capture analytics, providing internal team with community insights through weekly and monthly reporting
• Collaborate with our content team to identify common consumer topics that we can hatch into valuable, helpful, or intriguing new content
• Help build a trusted brand by stewarding our community through many different types and tones of conversation
• Advocate for Vital Farms with passion! Immersing yourself in our business and focus on sustainable agriculture and animal welfare practices will be critical to success in this role 

What You Bring to the Table:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications preferred
• 1-2 years experience in customer service, community management or social media for a brand. You bring a passion for ethically-sourced, nutritious food and purpose-driven brands.   
• Based in Austin, Texas preferably 
• You’re a team player and you’re willing to work unconventional hours within a 40-hour work week to meet the needs of the Community Management team - this position is specifically for a Tuesday – Saturday, 9-5 CST work week.  
• 10-20% travel for company events, team meetings, onboarding trips etc.
• You thrive while engaging and building online communities, cultivating meaningful conversations, and driving brand loyalty with personal touchpoints. 
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
• Stellar interpersonal skills to effectively communicate cross-functionally across the organization.

At Vital Farms, compensation decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors, which may include, but are not limited to, skill level, experience, education, training, market demands, and business needs. A reasonable estimate of the current starting annual base salary for this position is $55,000 - $62,000. Please keep in mind that hiring at the maximum end of the range would not be typical in order to allow for potential continued future salary growth.
