 **$500 sign on bonus ($250 at the completion of first week of training and $250 after successful completion of first 90 days)**

Position: Community Living Specialist 1 - Full and Part Time Roles Available

Location:  Manchester/East Hartford, CT

Rate of Pay: $23.84 per hour

Available Schedules : 

Full Time: 

• 35 Hours per week; Tuesday 4:00pm-12:00am, Friday 12:00am-9:00am, Saturday 12:00am-9pm, and Sunday 12:00am-9:00am

Part Time: 

• 8-25 Hours per week; Saturday or Sunday 4 hours per day
• Monday-Friday Mornings, afternoons, and evenings available

Summary: 

• The Community Living Specialist 1 assists individuals with disabilities in daily living skills to achieve greater independence and self-fulfillment. The Community Living Specialist 1 implements the organization’s mission and values by supporting individuals to make positive changes in their lives. Individuals with direct care, residential care, day program, and human services experience strongly encouraged to apply! 

 Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience with working with adults with disabilities, living on their own in the community required.
• Ability to transport members to do community activities needed to sustain an independent lifestyle. 
• Ability to use technology.
• Ability to work with a team, to provide the best support for the members in the home. 
• High School/GED 
• Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record and a reliable vehicle. 
• Must be willing to transport individuals in your own vehicle.
