Community Liaison/Account Manager

Responsibilities

The Community Liaison/Account Manager   The Community Liaison serves as liaison between the facility, the community, and referring agencies, presenting a positive and professional public image of the facility within Oklahoma City, Tulsa and Northeastern Oklahoma.  Creates demand for the facility’s services through the effective application of ethical marketing principles and sales methods.  Implements the facility’s strategic sales plan for assigned territory, enhances facility’s brand/image, and effectively manages assigned accounts to meet departmental and facility business development goals.  The ideal candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule and be willing to travel. Performs duties in accordance with the facility’s mission, values, policies, and behavioral standards.  Reports to the Business Development Director. 

Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital (a UHS facility): Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital provides inpatient and residential treatment services for youth ages 5-17, as well as inpatient, patial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services for adults ages 18+. Our treatment programs provide a structured and supportive treatment environment that promotes self-acceptance and helps stabilize patients suffering from acute psychiatric illness. Our multidisciplinary treatment teams consist of psychiatrists, licensed therapists and highly specialized nurses who collaborate to develop and implement effective and compassionate  treatment plans for our patients. Cedar Ridge is a behavioral health facility that encompasses a 206-bed acute psychiatric hospital and residential treatment center on a beautifully wooded campus with a stocked pond, school, gym, outdoor courtyard and playground. Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field required
  • Experience may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis in lieu of a degree 
• Prior marketing and/or sales experience within a behavioral healthcare setting preferred 
• Three (3) years minimum documented experience in referral development, account management, sales growth, and physician relationships preferred  

Additional Requirements:

• At least 21 years of age
• Successfully complete a drug test
• Successfully pass a national background check
• Willing to travel, including overnight travel as required 
• A valid state driver license required
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Demonstrate business development concepts, sales abilities, competency in computer usage
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Data collection analysis and interpretation
• Record of adherence to deadlines
• Demonstrate tact, resourcefulness, patience and dedication in a fast-paced environment.  
• Knowledge of and skills in application of marketing and sales principles
• Creativity and flexibility
