Summary
The Community Driver is responsible for transporting residents to off-site activities and appointments using community vehicles. They must also perform regular cleaning, maintenance, and daily safety inspections of the vehicles.
Job Description
The Community Driver at Mercer Commons transports residents to/from off-site activities such as shopping, doctor appointments, scenic drives, or other off-site events using non-CDL community vehicles. The Community Driver ensures regular cleaning, maintenance, and daily inspection of community vehicles and complies with federal, state, and local standards for facility operation.

Schedule:
- Part-time, working 10-15 hours per week, schedule varies (Available for Mondays, Wednesday & Fridays between the hours of 7:00 am - 6:00 pm, Saturdays between the hours of 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm, and Sundays between the hours of 7:00 am - 12:00 pm)
- Preference for weekend/holiday availability (typically working 1-2 weekend days per month)
Qualifications:
- Experience in auto maintenance is helpful, but not required
- Must have a current Driver’s License.
- One or more years of experience driving others, or other related fields.
