Overview
Delaware North Gaming is searching for an energetic, part-time Cocktail Server to join our team at Hamburg Gaming in Hamburg, New York. As a Cocktail Server, you will help enhance the guest experience by providing excellent service and care in every interaction.

Please note that this is a tipped position; the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

Unit Description
Hamburg Gaming, managed by Delaware North is at the Erie County Fairgrounds in Hamburg, New York., near Buffalo. The property features 940 gaming machines on the main gaming floor and an outdoor gaming patio.
Responsibilities
- Greets guests on the gaming floor and at beverage outlets
- Communicates drink specials, answers questions about available beverages, and takes beverage orders
- Serves alcoholic beverages responsibly, requests identification, adhere to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures
- Enters drink orders into the point-of-sale system; picks up drink orders and delivers to guests
- Picks up drink orders when ready and delivers orders to guests
- Prepares and delivers checks to guests
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Possess basic knowledge of standard drink recipes and alcohol brand names
- No experience or diploma required
Physical Requirements
- Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
- Ability to maneuver between tables and around corners
- Ability to lift, balance, and carry trays weighing up to 35 lbs
