Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Administer medications accurately and safely in accordance with CMT certification and facility protocols
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, health status, and changes in condition
- Assist nursing staff with clinical tasks and patient care procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients and residents
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Follow all HIPAA guidelines, infection control protocols, and state regulations
Requirements:
- Active CNA certification in the state of Maryland
- Valid CMT (Certified Medication Technician) certification required
- Prior experience in a healthcare, long-term care, or assisted living setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of medication administration procedures and documentation
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient advocacy skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented demeanor
