CNA (Residential)
Position Summary:
The CNA Residential provides direct patient care and support to individuals at the Homestead, a residential behavioral health treatment setting. This role assists with daily activities, monitors patient well-being, and supports a safe and structured treatment environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including hygiene, mobility, and meals.
- Monitor and document patient behavior, reporting concerns to nursing and clinical staff.
- Support patients in adhering to their treatment plans.
- Assist with medication administration under nursing supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient areas.
- Participate in crisis intervention and de-escalation when needed.
Skills and Competencies:

- Ability to work in a structured residential environment.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in [State].
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in behavioral health or residential care preferred.
- BLS/CPR certification required.
Additional Requirements:
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining licensure and certifications.
- If in recovery, a minimum of 2 years of sobriety is required.
- Acceptance of a minimum of 2 shifts per month.
