Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Monitor and record residents’ health status and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents to enhance their quality of life.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of resident living areas.
- Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal resident care.
Requirements
- Current CNA certification in the state of Kentucky.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or personal care setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours on a PRN basis.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
