CNA or Experienced Caregiver Needed

Looking for a passionate, dependable, caring person to assist our client in Elmhurst with their ADLs (activities of daily living) in their own home.  If you would prefer a job that is 1 on 1 please apply!

HOURS AVAILABLE: (11 hrs/wk)

MON - (9:30am - 1:30pm)
WED - (9:30am - 1:30pm)
FRI - (9:30am - 12:30pm)

If you are not available for this exact schedule, but you can do something close, we still want you to apply! There may be potential for additional care hours with a separate client as well, based on client proximity and caregiver availability.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, bathroom needs, and feeding
• Providing companionship and conversation
• Performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and linen changing
• Planning and preparing meals
• Providing medication reminders

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have Dementia experience 
• Ability to interpret the client’s provided plan of care
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations
• Must be able to be reached via phone or email for shift schedules, client updates and/or emergencies
• Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
• nonsmoker 
• Prior experience with dementia patients and senior care, a plus!
• You will not work with ARIS at home as a certified nursing assistant (CNA, C.N.A.), but as one of the following: caregiver, companion, personal care attendant, HHA, CHHA, H.H.A., home health aide, home health worker, home care caregiver, homemaker
