CNA or Caregiver (In-Home) - Up to $22/hr AND $1,100 Hire Bonus!!

We have openings throughout Austin (north, central and south), Burnet, Georgetown, Leander, Pflugerville, Marble Falls and Round Rock.

Hiring CNA or Caregiver for the following shifts:

• Full-Time Days and Nights (eligible for $1,100 Hire Bonus; Hire Bonus not available in Lampasas or Marble Falls).
• Part-Time Days and Nights (2, 4, and 6 hour shifts).
• PRN Overnight On-Call Caregiver.  On-call hours are 5:00 pm to 8:00 am during your assigned week.  During your assigned on-call week, you must be available to work overnight shifts within our service area.  On-Call Availability Pay is $25 per night for your on-call week, regardless of whether you are called in.  If called in to cover a shift, you will be paid $20/hour for each hour worked in addition to the on-call availability pay.   On weeks you are not assigned on-call, you may pick up additional available shifts if desired. 

All CNA/Caregivers must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, car insurance and be willing to drive a minimum of 30 minutes to your shift.

What You Will Bring, Do, and Own:

• Help clients with personal hygiene, including shower, tub or bed baths, dressing, oral care, hair and skin care.
• Help clients in the use of toilet facilities, including bed pans.
• Help clients in and out of bed, excluding the use of mechanical lifting equipment unless trained and documented as competent.
• Help clients with walking, including the use of walkers and wheelchairs, when applicable.
• Help clients with self-administration of medications.
• Help with prescribed exercises when the client and the Personal Care Assistant have been instructed by the appropriate health professional.
• Meal preparation and feeding, when required.
• Record and report changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior or appearance to supervisor or Case Coordinator.
• Document services delivered in accordance with Blue Water Homecare policies and procedures.
