Certified Nursing Assistant - SNF - Full-Time

Nature and Scope

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for assisting residents with their daily activities. This may include bathing and dressing, taking vital signs, collecting information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses and providers. The CNA answers resident calls.  They observe the resident for skin integrity changes, turn and reposition, and transfer residents to bed, chair or wheelchair. The CNA maintain cleanliness in the resident care area changing sheets and restocking supplies as needed.

Compensation

Compensation for Benefited, Full-Time Pay Scale

• Base Rate: $23.54–$33.56 per hour (or $48,963.20–$69,809.82 annually)
• Starting pay is determined using our clinical pay scales, which feature 13 steps recognizing up to 30 years of relevant experience.
• Eligible employees may also receive shift differential and holiday pay
• Hiring Incentive: 
  • 1 year of relevant experience: $1,500.00
  • 2 years of relevant experience: $3,000.00
  • 3 years of relevant experience: $4,500.00
  • 4 years of relevant experience: $6,000.00
  • 5+ years of relevant experience: $7,500.00
• Structure for incentive pay:
  • 25% of total incentive paid as a hiring incentive on the first pay check (within three weeks of first day of employment)
  • 25% of total incentive paid as a retention bonus due seven months after the first day of employment
  • 50% of total incentive paid as a retention bonus due one year after the first day of employment

Compensation for Non-Benefited, Full-Time Pay Scale

• Base Rate: $28.26–$40.29 per hour (or $58,771.44–$83,794.02 annually)
• Starting pay is determined using our clinical pay scales, which feature 13 steps recognizing up to 30 years of relevant experience.
• Eligible employees may also receive shift differential and holiday pay

Job Status / Shift Information

• Full-Time
• We have days and night shifts open
• Working 3,12 hour shifts a week 

Qualifications

Education: 

• Current California License as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Current CPR Certification

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to work under pressure and relate to resident, family, and long-term care staff.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate in English (reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending) in order to understand, plan, and carryout resident care plans and ADLs
