WORK LOCATION:

This is a fully remote position.

• Occasional business travel (less than 20%) may be required for client engagements, team collaboration sessions, or organizational meetings.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing, healthcare administration, public health, or related field required.
  • 5 years of experience in healthcare strategy and innovation, with a focus on rural healthcare settings, access and population health.
  • Experience working in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • Specialized expertise in areas such as telehealth, mental and behavioral health, chronic care management, etc.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI for data visualization and strategic dashboard development.
  • Proficiency with quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
  • Experience using data to tell a story and drive executive-level decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong facilitation skills, with the ability to lead group discussions, extract insights, and drive collaborative decision-making.
  • Demonstrated experience leading or facilitating strategic planning efforts including short and long term plans, preferably with rural health or community-based healthcare organizations.
  • Comfortable working in consultative environments and collaborating with multidisciplinary leadership teams to design and execute strategic initiatives.
  • Knowledge of healthcare policy, regulatory requirements, and best practices in rural healthcare delivery.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and drive initiatives to achieve measurable outcomes in population health improvement.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Must be service oriented.
  • Must have reliable internet.

• Preferred

  • Master’s degree in health or business discipline (e.g., MHA, MPH, MBA) preferred

  • Formal training or certification in strategy development, quality/process improvement (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma), or program evaluation preferred.

REPORTS TO: Senior Community Health Strategist

WORK STATUS: Full-time, 37.5-hour workweek.

SALARY RANGE: $85,000-$95,000, dependent on experience.

RHRC RECRUITMENT PROCESS:

• Apply for this position 
• Selected applicants can anticipate two rounds of interviews covering technical, behavior, and personality-based questions.
• Being team-oriented, our interviews are conducted by panels of peers.
• The provision of three professional references is required if selected for 2nd rounds.
• Typically, decisions are made upon the completion of 2nd rounds, however we reserve the right to request additional conversations to address any outstanding questions.
