Clinical Staff Pharmacist | PRN Overnight 9:00PM – 7:00AM | UF Health Leesburg

Join the UF Health Leesburg Hospital Inpatient Pharmacy team as a Clinical Staff Pharmacist – PRN Overnight and play an important role in supporting safe, high-quality patient care throughout the hospital.

This PRN overnight position works 9:00 PM–7:00 AM and partners with a skilled pharmacy technician to provide comprehensive pharmacy services during overnight hours. The pharmacist serves as an important clinical resource for physicians, nurses, and other members of the patient care team, helping ensure medications are used safely, effectively, and appropriately.

In this role, you will provide pharmaceutical care to patients across the hospital, including interpreting and verifying medication orders, maintaining medication profiles, providing drug information, and making evidence-based medication recommendations.

Additional responsibilities may include:

• Reviewing and verifying medication orders for safety and appropriateness
• Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care
• Providing medication and drug information to clinical teams
• Monitoring and dosing medications, including antibiotics and anticoagulation therapy
• Performing pharmacokinetic dosing and follow-up
• Monitoring parenteral nutrition therapy
• Making therapeutic interchange and IV-to-PO recommendations when appropriate
• Attendance and involvement in varied medical staff committees/meetings
• Supporting safe and efficient medication distribution throughout the hospital

Qualifications

Education:- Professional School, College Masters, or moreLicensure/Certification/Registration:- Valid Florida Pharmacist LicenseSpecial Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required:- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
