Clinical Specialist (Remote)

We are searching for a Clinical Specialist to join our Sales Team who will act as a partner with our Territory Account Managers.  This is a fully remote position with up to 60% travel.

Position Summary:

The primary functions of the Clinical Specialist is to serve as a resource for Cascade customers and the internal product/vendor specialist for Cascade employees. The Clinical Specialist also improves employees' knowledge of O&P products and processes through the development, coordination, and presentation of training and development programs for sales, CSR, material handling, and other departments as appropriate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support customers by fielding calls and emails regarding product, ordering, coding, documentation, and other inquiries.
• Improve sales and customer service employees’ knowledge of O&P (clinical knowledge, reimbursement, clinic operations, CPO workflow) through development, coordination, and presentation of training and resource materials.  
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop sales strategies and initiatives. 
• Create and execute customer presentations for customer continuing education credits independently and in collaboration with vendor partners.
• Assist in analyzing customer ordering habits to identify opportunities to increase orders through Cascade
• Develop and foster customer relationships by visiting accounts with sales reps to provide product education, discuss industry changes, perform product demos and Fit Clinics, obtain customer feedback on products and needs, and inform customers of clinical support services available to them 
• Support customer brand loyalty and strengthen relationships by working with the data team to propose cost savings through clinically comparable items.
• Vet new potential products for the Cascade portfolio by offering a clinical perspective and using knowledge of the market
• Assist with product placement and provide vendor feedback on product acceptance in the field
• Other duties assigned

• Knowledge of technical expertise and products 
• Knowledge of changes and updates in the orthotics and prosthetics field
• Knowledge of informational databases including the Cascade website, Salesforce, Monday, etc.
• Skilled in time management
• Skilled in handling multiple tasks, prioritizing and changing priorities
• Skilled in anticipating, identifying, analyzing, and resolving problems
• Ability to deliver superior customer service
• Ability to perform business math (basic margin analysis, list pricing verification discounting, etc.)
• Ability to identify training needs and implement appropriate training
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to listen to and understand information verbally and in writing
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

Minimum Qualifications – (Education, Experience, Certification, & Licensure):

• A Masters degree or certification in prosthetics & orthotics
• Five to eight years of experience as a certified practitioner
• Current ABC certification
• Current state licensure, if applicable
