Job Duties/Responsibilities:

The Clinical Therapist is a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team. Major job functions include: obtaining psycho-social assessments; conducting family/group therapy on assigned cases; complete documentation per hospital policy and procedure; case coordination; coordinate discharge planning; assist in developing and maintaining community resource information; performs marketing functions as assigned; assists in the maintenance of the program environment in compliance with policies of safety and security; ensures good clinical judgment to ensure optimum patient care; participate in continuing education activities.

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to patients and families.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, documenting treatment progress and adjusting interventions based on patient needs and clinical outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nursing staff, case managers, and other interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care, support discharge planning, and ensure continuity of treatment services.

Qualifications

• Education:
• • Required: Master's Degree from an accredited school in Social Services, Psychiatric, or related Behavioral Health field.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Required: Must be licensed in the state of Kentucky (CSW, LCSW, LPC, CADC, LCADC, MFTA, LMFT, LPCA, LPCC, LPA, or LPP)
• Experience:
  • Required: 0 - 1 years of related experience.
  • Preferred: 1 - 3 years of related experience.
