Crossroads Health, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with facilities located in Mentor, Painesville, and Concord, serves Northeast Ohio communities with comprehensive behavioral and primary integrated healthcare, early childhood services, extended housing and recovery services—no matter one’s ability to pay. The Clinical Intern position offers support, observation, and interventions within the agency, specific to program needs and setting. Internships offered in Outpatient and Residential Counseling.This position is responsible for individual and group services as well as professional development in their field of study. This student will engage as a member of a collaborative team. With a Trauma Informed approach, this position will be a representative for the organization and how we offer integrated services for recovery and mental health.

Responsibilities of the Clinical Intern include but are not limited to:
- Observe, co-facilitate, and provide trauma informed services to clients and their family system within the agency specific to program needs and setting.
- Seek and secure professional development consistent with licensure and credential requirements for personal and organizational growth.
- Provide accurate, concise, and concurrent documentation according to program procedures and policies.
- Provide consultation and collaboration with community partners and clients’ treatment teams. Promote Crossroads Health services and engage in outreach activities.
Position Requirements:
- Enrollment in a Master’s level program in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
- Licensed in the State of Ohio with SWT/CT for duration of internship
- Must have an acceptable driving record (4 points of less), reliable transportation, and carry automobile insurance with minimum liability limits of $100,000/$300,000 and property damage of $50,000.
