Job Details: Job Location: Brooten Medical Center - Brooten, MN, Salary Range: $22.98 - $32.71Hourly, Join a compassionate and professional team at Brooten Medical Center! We’re hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support a family medicine clinician who cares for patients of all ages.
This role offers a great mix of hands-on patient care and variety in your day. Will be cross-trained in phlebotomy. If you’re organized, efficient, and enjoy being part of a collaborative care team, this is a rewarding opportunity.
Duties and Responsibilities
Clean, prepare, and restock exam rooms.
Assist clinician with procedures as directed.
Administer medications and allergy shots as ordered.
Schedule mammograms, CT scans, ultrasounds, surgery, or any outpatient procedures as directed by the clinician.
Perform hearing and tympanogram tests for individuals and companies; UA collection for routine and company drug screens; ear washes; BPV’s; EKG’s; immunizations; dressing changes.
Notify patients of lab or radiology results or complete any follow-up calls to patients under the direction of the clinician.
Provide patient education as directed.
Ensure all pertinent patient information is documented in the EMR.
Send requests to the Referral Coordinator for appointments with other specialty clinics and physicians.
Other duties as assigned.
Schedule
Full-Time, 64 hours per pay period
Weekdays
Weekend rotation at Glenwood Medical Center’s Walk-In Clinic, approx. 1:10+
May be scheduled for 7am-7pm Walk-In Clinic as needed.
May be assigned to work with other clinic providers and at Glenwood or Starbuck Medical Centers as needed.
