Clear Path Chemistry & Biochemistry Student Worker

 ClearPath
Scholar and Research Program is in need of students majoring in science,
technology and mathematics to aid in the implementation of this NSF Grant
funded program.

Responsibilities include:

• Will
  be expected to travel to the partner community colleges at least once each semester
  to meet with their ClearPath Scholar.
• Reach
  out in other manners to connect with the student throughout the semester.
• Once
  the ClearPath Scholars come to campus, the Mentors will be expected to attend
  ClearPath events and meet regularly with the ClearPath scholar.
• Attend regular
  training sessions will occur.
• Upper-level
  Tutors will
  be expected to establish tutoring times to meet with ClearPath scholars for the purpose
  of tutoring.  

Required Qualifications to become a Tutor:

• Current ESU Student.
• Such students must demonstrate exceptional knowledge in the field in which they are tutoring.
• All students need to be able to demonstrate targeted skills sets and knowledge requisite for successfully accomplishing the task.

Pay Rate & Hours:

• $10.00 per hour
• Up to 20 hours per week subject to change.

Employment Eligibility & University Commitment

Must be at least 18 years old and have English literacy skills. Employment with ESU is contingent on the selected candidate passing a thorough background check that includes: FBI fingerprinting, PA Child Abuse, and employment.
