We are looking for dependable, hardworking team members to help us keep the farm clean, safe, and welcoming for our guests. This is an active, hands-on position that involves working throughout the property and spending much of the day outdoors

Description 

The Clean & Green Team Member is responsible for helping maintain the cleanliness and appearance of Linvilla Orchards throughout the day. The primary focus of this position is collecting trash and recycling, emptying waste containers, cleaning guest areas, and assisting with general property clean-up. This position is especially important during our busy fall season when thousands of guests may visit the farm in a single day. Team members should be comfortable working independently, staying on the move, and identifying areas that need attention without always being asked.

Responsibilities

• Regularly empty trash and recycling containers throughout the property
• Collect and transport trash and recycling to designated disposal areas
• Monitor high-traffic areas and empty containers before they become full or overflow
• Pick up litter throughout the grounds, parking areas, walkways, picnic areas, and attraction areas
• Wipe down and clean picnic tables, benches, counters, and other guest areas as needed
• Help keep eating and seating areas clean throughout the day
• Sweep and perform general clean-up around buildings, attractions, and outdoor areas
• Replace trash and recycling bags and keep supplies stocked
• Assist with restroom cleaning and restocking as needed
• Help clean up spills and other messes promptly
• Assist with end-of-day property clean-up
• Report safety concerns, damaged equipment, overflowing waste areas, or other maintenance issues to a manager
• Assist other departments with general clean-up and grounds tasks as needed
• Provide friendly and helpful service when interacting with guests
• Work efficiently in a busy environment with large crowds

Requirements

This is an active position. Team members must be able to:

• Spend the majority of the shift walking and standing
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Bend, reach, push, pull, and repeatedly lift throughout the shift
• Lift and carry filled trash bags and other materials
• Push or maneuver trash and recycling containers
• Work around crowds and in busy guest areas
• Perform cleaning tasks that may involve dirt, food waste, liquids, and other refuse
