Physical Education Classroom Coordinator

Job Details: Job Location: Center for Autism - Columbia, TN, Education Level: Bachelor's Degree, Salary Range: $21.21 - $21.21Hourly, Job Shift: Weekdays 1st shift, Join a mission-driven team dedicated to helping students with autism reach their full potential through adaptive physical education. This hands-on role combines fitness, skill development, and relationship-building to support students' growth, confidence, and success both in and out of the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and lead adaptive physical education activities that promote fitness, motor skills, and student engagement. 
Assess student abilities and develop lessons that support individualized goals and skill development. 
Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and success.
Track student progress, maintain required documentation, and collaborate with staff and families to support student growth.

What we need from you:

Bachelor's degree required (any field, but bonus points if it matches your focus area)
Valid Driver's license required
Physical stamina (you'll be active, not stuck in a chair)
Able to pass drug screen and background checks (no felonies, no abuse, assault, or neglect convictions)
Dependable- a consistent routine is important for our clients
Willing to complete TB skin test and work physical upon hire
