CLASS C DRIVER

Job Details: Level: Experienced, Job Location: IL 1 - Elgin, IL, Salary Range: $32.00 - $33.00Hourly, Job Summary

BOX Partners has an immediate need for Class C CDL Drivers for our Elgin, Illinois distribution center, conveniently located near I-90 and Randall Road. This position is responsible for safely transporting products while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday
 6:00 am – 2:30pm

Pay:

Starting at $32.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class C commercial vehicle to transport products to customers and distribution locations.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Load, unload, and secure freight as required.
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and required DOT logs.
Comply with all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse personnel.
Keep vehicles clean and report maintenance concerns promptly.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Required Skills and Abilities

Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
Previous commercial driving experience required.
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and safely in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
3-5 years Class C commercial driving experience required.
Clean driving record preferred.

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit for extended periods while operating a commercial vehicle.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to safely enter and exit the truck cab multiple times throughout the workday.
Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
