About the Role:Soccer Shots is looking for an energetic and passionate Children's Soccer Coach to join our team in the Longview area! This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of young players by combining a love of soccer with the joy of working with kids. If you're enthusiastic, fun, and ready to inspire the next generation of athletes, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate soccer sessions for young children
- Create a positive, safe, and encouraging environment for all participants
- Teach fundamental soccer skills including dribbling, passing, and teamwork
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding player progress
- Manage classroom and field behavior in a fun and constructive manner
- Arrive prepared and on time to all scheduled practices and events
- Represent the Soccer Shots brand with professionalism and enthusiasm
Requirements:
- Experience working with young children in a coaching, teaching, or childcare setting
- Basic soccer knowledge and a passion for the sport
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation to travel to program locations in the Longview area
- Ability to pass a background check
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
- Energetic, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with kids
