Children's Art and Science After-school Instructor

We’re looking for talented, enthusiastic art and science instructors to teach our exciting curriculum that helps students build real artistic skills over time. The role is ideal for educators who enjoy working with children and can confidently teach foundational art techniques in a fun, supportive environment.
What and who is Kidcreate Studio?  Kidcreate Studio is an art studio just for kids. Our enrichment classes are a great way to introduce children to the beautiful world of art and the innovative world of science! We provide a positive, self-esteem-building environment for children to explore the visual arts and STEM field. 
We specialize in children’s art and science classes, camps, and art-themed birthday parties. At Kidcreate Studio, you will help children create fridge-worthy masterpieces, learn art concepts, and experiment with many different art materials.
Weekly classes, camps, workshops, and homeschool classes are age-specific and are tailored to provide each student with the curriculum that suits them best.

Qualifications:

• Art Skills - You should have a strong foundation in drawing, painting, and composition
• Science Skills- You should have basic scientific skills needed to demonstrate hands-on, child friendly experiments.
• Experience - Preferred candidates have experience teaching or working with children, are comfortable leading groups and managing a classroom, and are able to teach art techniques and build skills.

What You Will Do:

• Teach structured art and science lessons that develop skills progressively over time
• Facilitate engaging classes for children of various ages and skill levels
• Demonstrate drawing, painting, and other art techniques
• Break complex skills into clear, age-appropriate steps
• Provide constructive, encouraging feedback to students
• Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment
