Small Hands Big Dreams is not your average daycare! This fall our growing early learning team is looking to hire an Experienced Childcare Teacher who is passionate about nurturing and growing young minds. We need a dedicated, energetic and creative individual who is experienced in caring for children and who understands the importance of quality early childhood education.

Responsibilities Include:

Health and safety of children

Prepares and implements hands-on activities

Actively supervises the children at all times

Daily communication (verbal, send pictures, videos, messages)

Builds strong family relationships through goal setting and engagement in classroom activities

Punctual

Enrolls in and completes training through training platforms

Appropriate interactions, dress, communication

Qualifications: Ideal characteristics:

Has experience working with young children and some coursework in early childhood, education (or a related field) CPL 1,2 or 3 ( wage is assigned based on years of experience and education/training documented in OCCRRA
Ready to lend a helping hand and work as a team
Supports families through daily communication and engagement
Joins in on fun- singing and dancing
Commits to watching students grow through the whole year (longevity)
Provides social and emotional support and healthy relationships
Professional and committed to quality
Motivated and holds true to what you say you will do (integrity)
