About the Role:Join our passionate team at Little Cub Academy LLC as a Substitute Teacher! This exciting opportunity allows you to nurture and inspire young minds in a warm and welcoming environment. Substitute teachers are essential educators who manage classrooms, deliver lesson plans, and ensure student safety during regular teacher absences
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of children 0-5 years
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the classroom.
- Collaborate with other teachers to enhance curriculum and classroom activities.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
- Manage classroom behavior and promote positive social interactions among children.
Requirements:
- Must have completed basic classes in Early Childhood Education.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience working with infants or toddlers in a childcare setting.
- CPR and First Aid certification required (or 3 months after hire date).
- Strong communication skills and a nurturing demeanor.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Passion for working with young children and fostering their growth.
- Background check clearance required prior to employment.
