Child Care Attendent [Mia's Place]

Job Details: Job Location: Business Office - Utica - Utica, NY, Position Type: Part Time, Salary Range: $16.00 - $16.00Hourly, Mia’s Place is looking for friendly, dependable, and hardworking team members to join our staff. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, provides excellent customer service, and works well in a fast-paced team environment.

Job Duties May Include:

Check in customers, have the appropriate documentation completed and accept payments

Implement active supervision strategies that ensure children are supervised by parents.

Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.

Comply with and enforce Mia’s Place Policies & Rules.

Ensure that all supplies and equipment are stored appropriately and are safe for all children to use.

Maintain a clean play area; following the cleaning schedule assigned at the end of each shift, disinfecting toys and playground equipment.

Maintain a friendly, outgoing personality with our customers and team members

Availability to supervise and coordinate birthday parties and special events.

Clean up and put all toys and supplies away after parties and special events

Attend and participate in periodic training outside of regular business hours as requested.

Other duties as assigned by the Mia’s Place Director/Manager.

 
Qualifications:

Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Reliable and punctual

Good communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Previous customer-service experience is a plus, but not required

Evening & weekend availability - REQUIRED
