Job Duties:

Greet and assist all customers in a friendly manner.
Maintain assigned work area clean at all times (sweep, mop, clear of dirt, etc.)
Maintain a workstation that is organized and stocked.
Ensure all food items are properly covered and stored at required temperatures (cold-cold; hot-hot)
Prepare food as needed.
Assist Cook in preparing food.
Follow management directions and promote teamwork.
Assist and participate with Company marketing promotional events and programs as needed

And all other assigned job duties

 
QualificationsJob Requirements:

Must obey all State and Federal guidelines regarding health and safety policies.

Wear clean complete uniform at all times: black pants or denim jeans, white dress shirt with collar or Vallarta approved shirt, black non-slip shoes, dark socks, hair net/Vallarta hat, and clean apron.

Wear safety glove when using knives.

Wash hands frequently (at least every 20 minutes) with hot water and anti-microbial soap from elbows down for no less than 20 seconds.
Follow dress/uniform policy.

Must obey all State and Federal guidelines regarding health and safety policies.
Must use safety goggles and heat resistant sleeves when preparing specific cuts of chicharron and carnitas
Avoid spilling any lard or other materials on the floor to avoid potential slip/fall risk
Organize commissary deliveries accordingly upon arrival: using the “first in/first out” rotation strategy for all perishable products.
Assist with loading rotisserie chicken grill on a daily basis during scheduled shift.

Essential Job Duties:

Lift boxes and product ranging between 20 lbs up to 60 lbs
Place boxes/product onto dolly or cart

Push/pull between 30 lbs up to 200 lbs (items on cart/dolly
