Major Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting with education for chaplain interns and residents in compliance with the standards of the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education, Inc.
Complete annual continuing education.
Create necessary updates in accreditation portfolio as directed by the Director of CPE.
Responsible for adhering to the Code of Professional Ethics as outlined in the standards of the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education, Inc.
Responsible for adhering to the general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building, while following hospital/departmental policies and procedures, contributing to the overall quality of services.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
ACPE Certified Educator, Required
Education Required:
Master’s Degree, Required in religious studies, theology, divinity or related field
Annual continuing education and peer reviews
Experience Required:
3 years in field related to chaplaincy or education
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Preferred Job Requirements
Preferred Certification / License:
Board certification or Certification by one of the following: APC, NACC, NAJC, CPSP, Preferred
Preferred Experience:
3 years as Certified Educator
