Channel Sales Leader - Americas

Job Description: 

The Channel Sales Leader, Americas is a key commercial leadership role responsible for driving results across the regional sales organization. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, this position leads the channel team and manages channel partner relationships across the Americas, from Canada to Argentina.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Revenue and volume growth: Own revenue and volume growth targets for the Delrin® distribution channel and drive performance against annual commercial objectives.
• Growth strategy development: Develop and execute channel growth strategies that prioritize new business development, customer acquisition, and profitable share gain.
• Pipeline management: Build, manage, and advance a robust opportunity pipeline for Delrin® products, ensuring disciplined follow-up and successful conversion to revenue.
• Product knowledge and value proposition: Develop a strong understanding of Delrin® product performance, applications, and value propositions, and communicate them effectively to customers and channel partners.
• Channel partner leadership: Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partner leadership, ensuring partner sales teams are enabled to serve mutual customers efficiently and deliver world-class service to Delrin® end users.
• Market expansion: Expand and diversify the customer base by identifying, prioritizing, and penetrating new applications and markets through channel partners.

Ideal Profile: 

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or equivalent experience.

• Commercial experience: Minimum of 7 years of sales or business experience in a business-to-business environment.

• Market and technical knowledge: Experience in plastics distribution and a strong working knowledge of engineering plastics.

• Communication and influence: Excellent English communication skills, with proven ability to influence senior-level internal and external stakeholders.

• Strategic execution: Results-oriented leader who is comfortable setting strategy, translating it into actionable plans, and executing with discipline.

• Tools, pricing, and channel practices: Proficiency with CRM tools; SFDC experience is advantageous. Familiarity with pricing and sales mechanisms commonly used in plastics distribution.

• People leadership: Experience leading others, aligning teams around clear objectives, and delivering goals through collaboration.

• Sales excellence: Proven track record of achieving results by applying sales excellence, disciplined execution, and best practices.

• Leadership attributes: Self-starter who is highly motivated, independent, and capable of leading with confidence and accountability.

• Work location and travel: Home-office based role with travel required across the Americas.
