Certified Nursing Assistant, Immediate need for Newport, Middletown, Portsmouth & Tiverton area.

BAYADA Home Health Care has immediate openings for CNA's who are looking to work in the Aquidneck Island area, which includes: Newport, Middletown, Portsmouth and Tiverton. If you are a CNA who is looking to work full-time or part-time, you have the ability to create your own schedule with us.

Pay Rate : $23.50-$26.00 an hour

Qualifications for CNA position:

• Need to have a RI CNA license from the RIDOH
• Must have a vehicle to travel to clients homes  
• Must have 1 year or more of verifiable employment (does not have to be related to health care)

Job Responsibilities for CNA:

• Activities of daily living
• Light housekeeping
• Bathing
• Dressing
• Grooming
• Toileting
• Nail care
• Range of motion / exercises
• Transfers /use of mechanical lifting devices
• Oral feeding
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
• Assisting with ambulation
• Medication assistance
