What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a CDL Class A Driver to support hauling operations for debris removal and equipment transport during disaster response and environmental projects. This role is responsible for safely transporting storm-related debris, materials, and heavy equipment between job sites, staging areas, and disposal locations.

This role is part of field operations and does not typically manage personnel. Success includes maintaining safe driving practices, ensuring timely and efficient hauling operations, and supporting overall project productivity in fast-paced and dynamic environments.

What You Will Do

Transport debris, materials, and heavy equipment between project sites, staging areas, and disposal facilities.
Operate tractor-trailers and hauling equipment in both on-road and off-road conditions.
Load, secure, and unload debris and equipment in compliance with safety standards.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate driver logs, load tickets, and required documentation.
Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies.
Coordinate with field teams, dispatch, and supervisors to meet project timelines.
Monitor vehicle performance and report maintenance or repair needs.
Adapt to changing routes, schedules, and project demands.
Assist with general site operations or support tasks when needed.

Required Qualifications

Valid CDL Class A license required.
2+ years of commercial driving experience hauling materials, debris, or equipment.
Clean driving record.
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance requirements.
Proven ability to properly secure loads and operate safely in dynamic job site environments.
Ability to work in outdoor and physically demanding conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience hauling heavy equipment or oversized loads.
Experience in construction, logistics, or disaster recovery operations.
OSHA certification (10-hour or 30-hour).
Familiarity with job site coordination and heavy equipment operations.

You will play a critical role in supporting debris removal and equipment logistics that directly impact recovery timelines. The work is physically demanding and time-sensitive, requiring adaptability, strong safety awareness, and effective teamwork.
