CDL A Truck Driver - Part Time

We are currently searching for a 1st shift Part Time CDL Class A Truck Driver for our New Bremen, OH  location.  As a Class A CDL Truck Driver, you can expect to safely transport products from our production facility to customer locations in a professional, and timely manner in coherence with promoting corporate vision, mission statement, and core values.  Our drivers ensure that the customers’ orders are handled according to the Quality Policy.

Hours: 5am to 1pm approximate - Monday and Friday

What you need to be successful at Opus Packaging:

• Must be 21 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have 2 full years of driving experience with a Class A CDL or equivalent military driving experience.
• A satisfactory motor vehicle record.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Work safely and attend all safety training.

It would be great if you also have:

• 5-7 years of driving experience with a Class A CDL.
• Must have a valid Class A CDL for interstate commerce.

During a normal workday you can expect to:

• Process customer orders to achieve corporate goals.
• Operate distribution services in compliance with procedures and standards.
• Obtain cross-functional abilities within the manufacturing/shipping environment.
• Maintain tractor and trailer vehicle inspections according to DOT regulations.
• Coordinate production activities with purchasing, maintenance, and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.
