Casual positions are temporary, part-time assignments created to provide technical, clerical or other general support to Gateway faculty and staff. These positions are not benefit eligible.
Position Overview
Gateway Technical College is seeking an organized and dependable individual to provide day-to-day administrative and program support for the Gateway District Youth Apprenticeship Consortium.
This position supports student placement activities, employer and school communication, program records, meetings, training and other Youth Apprenticeship activities. The employee will work with students, families, employers, school-based coordinators and workforce partners under the direction of Youth Apprenticeship program leadership.
Casual employees are hired for a specific period of time and work under the supervision of the department or area that hires them. Hours may vary from week to week, and the assignment may end at any time.

Conditions of Employment
- Applicants must be age 16 or older.
- Applicants must meet employment eligibility requirements for the United States.

- Gateway Technical College does not provide relocation assistance.
Work Authorization
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available. International students seeking employment must be currently enrolled at Gateway Technical College and have an F-1 or M-1 visa. After receiving a job offer, the supervisor will provide employment details to Human Resources and request an Intent Letter. The international student must then obtain a Social Security number for tax purposes.
